Doing a bit more stitching on my Turkish Delight . A sort of square spiral - free motion. It was surprisingly easy to create. I followed the shape of the square from the outer edge inti the centre. Almost ready now to start adding 'embellishments' ......

Just for fun - Mug Rugs
Here are some quick mug rugs I made today. Don't you just love the 'Beach Ladies'. p.s. Mug rugs are bigger than a coaster and smaller than a placemat. Just big enough for a mug and a biscuit.
Ok getting fed up now
I have started stitching on it this afternoon -

A Grand Farewell
Turkish Delight
Been doing a bit more work - putting
A frame around. It should look a bit like a window when it's finished. Have to plan the quilting now. Was thinking of straight lines - fake brick work or maybe some Turkish designs. Um.....time for some online research

How's it going
Well I have had a busy week getting this blog going. It has helped me focus on my projects - hopefully it will keep me on the straight and narrow - and get me finishing what I have started.
Today I am going to take some more pictures. I was hoping for some sun but it's a grey old day in Port Talbot today. Also I am going to work on my Turkish Delight. Then at 2.30 this afternoon it's needle down time as Wales take on Italy in rugby. Hope it's not as close as their last game against England when it was so close I had to hide behind the settee.

Turkish Delight sketch
This is the final sketch for my Turkish Delight challenge quilt. Mind you that's not to say it won't take on a life of it's own as I put it together.
